Who runs this, and why.
The Working Dog Draw started in a truck bed in Conway, Arkansas, after one too many conversations about gear nobody could justify buying.
Working dogs are expensive. A good e-collar is four hundred dollars. A kennel that will actually protect your dog in a wreck is another four. A year of food that keeps weight on a dog running six days a week costs more than most people spend on their own groceries. Everybody in this community knows what the right equipment costs, and most of us make do with the wrong equipment anyway.
So we built something simple. Every month there is one prize, worth having. Entry is capped at one hundred. The draw happens live, on video, on the first of the month. And the community picks what we chase next.
We are not a charity and we do not pretend to be. We are a small operation that runs an honest drawing, ships the prize, and posts the video. That is the whole business.
